#Livedraw Football March 2015 Friendly SOLD

Italy v England
What a thing.
or England v Italy.
What a thing.

Roy Hodgson carries Pelle

Italy scored a goal in about 28 minutes, with Mr Pelle being Mr Goal and Mr Smooth at this point. Some going. He's a bit of a hunk, Pelle. In that "hunk" sort of way.
I drew this image of Pelle being helped along by a red (wine) or red (blood) Roy Hodgson. After kicking a goal. Yes it was. And it is.

England did score a goal near the end. Your know, they had a go. Bit half hearted I'd say Mr No 17, Mr Townsend. Didn't help (well it probably did, but it wasn't punk rock).

I decided to do #livedraw at the last minute this evening, drawing the match (not painting acrylics on canvas this time), and then using Schminke watercolours (cos they is the best). It was tricky because my son had lots of incomplete homework to do, which I hadn't realised, so I kept having to stop (young ones innit) to do maths or stargazing. Ah well.

You can buy this watercolour at £30 inc P&P which is a snip. There is only one. Livedraw forever. Look out for Eurovision which is only a few weeks away, when it really gets interesting. Paintings in three minutes or less. This is just the rehearsal. Or something.

This has now sold.

Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats Artwork for 2015

"I'm Going To Add The Car"

Hey you March people. It's almost Summer (sort of) and - yes - when it's getting warm and hazy (ish) we think about electronica and cliff-top suicides.
So – after much humming and hah-ing and a long dark night of the soul we at Raw Art towers have decided to say Yes to public demand. The 20 x 20cm TG 20 Jazz Funk Greats painting is back. Back back back. Click here for the original post. The paintings sold out quickly and we did 'em as mugs.

Here's the latest, with car

At the height of painting multiples

But this time it's going to be different. For this series I am going to add the car, as seen in the original artwork. When I've done the first couple I'll take some more pictures and post them here.
Some people did ask where the car was - it had not been included it as I was interested in the four characters - our TG friends - as the "visual appeal". But now I think - what will it look like with the car? Why don't we explore the looming presence? I have at least (for now) excluded any hint of the naked male body which lies at the front of the figures, out of shot. Be thankful for that, pups.

The painting is, as mentioned, 20 x 20cm acrylics on canvas board. Limited to thirty only – please allow 14 days from purchase as these are all painted to order. Any questions, let me know.
